Dr. Antony M. Grigonis is the Executive Vice President for Morrison Informatics, Inc. He co-founded the company in 1996. His responsibilities encompass all aspects of client services involving financial and clinical data analysis and forecasting, systems assessment, the development of client-specific recommendations, software development, operations analysis and program implementation.

Dr. Grigonis applies diverse research and statistical methodologies to the analysis and development of complex models involving financial and clinical data, management effectiveness, case-mix indices, and verification of data related to clinical measures, patient outcomes and resource use. Dr. Grigonis has extensive background in the development of methods for clinical measurements and cost effectiveness evaluation. He has developed managed care contract analysis systems, including modeling of financial results of different diagnostic severity levels and evaluation of prospective payment systems and reimbursement. He has also developed cost forecasting algorithms and software applications for post-acute care organizations based on prospective payment systems.

Prior to co-founding Morrison Informatics, Inc., he served as director of Operations Research and Program Effectiveness at Continental Medical Systems, Inc., a major national rehabilitation hospital company.

Dr. Grigonis received his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts and completed postgraduate work in anatomy at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. He became an assistant professor of anatomy at Hahnemann University and served as director of that institution's graduate programs in anatomy.

In addition to his contributions to the information management field, Dr. Grigonis has been awarded several grants from the National Institute of Health for the investigation of the effects of early brain damage on the development of the central nervous system. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has developed a nationwide reputation for his work in the neuroscience field.
