Margaret M. Sutton

Margaret M. Sutton
Morrison Informatics, Inc.

Margaret Sutton has over twenty five years experience in health care and project management, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati in Operations Management and Marketing. She recently served as the Chief Administrative and Integration Services Officer for a 550 bed, long-term acute care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation hospital. She was administratively responsible for hospital operations, including an extensive information technology infrastructure which included a state-of-the art network to support an expansive clinical EMR and financial information system. In addition, she was responsible for all enterprise projects and helped lead Board of Trustee strategic planning, budget development, and implementation of major initiatives. Previously, she served as Director of Planning and Operations for the University of Cincinnati, Department of Medical Center Information and Communication.

Ms. Sutton has many years of consulting experience in project management and has consulted on corporate restructuring/re-engineering, strategic planning, and implementation of information technology change. She has served as a corporate project officer, overseeing management of various projects including introduction and implementation of new programs and business development. She has also conducted executive seminars on project management and related subjects, including the use of project management software.

Ms. Sutton has published articles on managing technological change, and is a co-author of the textbook, Project Management in Practice, now in its Second Edition, published by John Wiley & Sons in 2005.
